LED Modules in the UAE
LED modules are the workhorse of sign fabrication. Where a strip gives a continuous line, modules give discrete points of light on a string, which is exactly what a channel letter or a light box needs — even fill across an irregular shape, with the spacing set to the depth of the box rather than fixed by a reel.

What to get right
Match beam spread to box depth
A shallow light box needs wide-lens modules, or each one appears as a hot spot through the face. A deep box can use narrower modules at wider spacing because the light has room to spread before it reaches the acrylic. Getting this pairing wrong is the usual cause of visibly blotchy signage.
Set spacing from a test panel, not a table
Module spacing depends on face material, translucency, depth and module output together. The reliable method is to build a small test section with the actual acrylic and check it lit in the dark. A supplier spacing table is a starting point, not an answer.
Use IP-rated modules and sealed feeds outdoors
Exterior signage in the UAE deals with dust, humidity and wash-down. IP65 or above is the minimum for the modules, and every connection and cable entry into the sign body must be sealed properly — water entering through a cable gland will kill a string regardless of how well rated the modules are.
Plan the string length against the driver
Modules are wired in strings with a maximum count per run set by voltage drop and driver capacity. Exceeding it dims the far end of the string. For large signs, split into several shorter strings fed from a driver with headroom rather than one long chain.
